MUSIC: Big Sean - unknowbigsean Mixtape
Mark my word, Big Sean is gonna take the music world by storm. Following up the unique styles ofKiD CuDi and Charles Hamilton, Big Sean is a lyricist who's witty lines just keep his listeners entertained throughout all of his songs. This mixed with his smooth style and storybook flows really makes for a great all around artist. Coming out of Detroit, the only rapper who I would draw similarities are the voice and style of M1 Platoon with the flow of Wale along with the storybook flow of Blu. Drake's freestyle skills are kinda skeptical. He's a better than average writer but off the top he's kinda if-y. I mean he does go hard but after hearing his So Far Gone mixtape I was sorta expecting a little bit more from him.

Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, Outasight (Richard Andrew) was brought up by a mother who decorated the walls with records and a father who was always playing the guitar. “Constantly moving from apartment to apartment never really gave me a true sense of home, but I always found comfort in music." says the rapper/singer. Los Angeles Anaheim Angels Pitcher Nick Adenhart was killed along with two other passengers in a hit-and-run traffic accident in Fullerton, Calif., early Thursday. Another Life taken too early do foolish and reckless behavior. He was only 23 years old. Rest in peace Nick.

For those of you that don't know, The Bonnaroo Music & Art's Festival is an annual event [This year June 11-14] that has been held every year since 2002 in Manchester, TN. To give you an idea of it's magnitude; it's like SXSW, in all it's glory, but amped up to the 10th degree. This festival is responsible for helping jump start many artist career's like Galactic, Jack Johnson, Jurassic 5, Matisyahu etc. The reason why I am blogging about this festival is because this year is gonna be awesome! The line-up includes The Beastie Boys, Al Green, Snoop Dogg, Eryka Badu, Jimmy Fallon and a whole bunch more! To check out entire line-up click here.
